For those who have not watched Rent, movie or broadway musical,

this video and log is strongly NOT suggested.

A watch is strongly suggested.

This is an alternate ending of Rent, one that I prefer. Much preferred.

But this is not the reason why I posted this log.

There are several deleted scenes from the movie Rent, and

two of the most important scenes of all is Halloween and Goodbye Love.

The latter is what I'd love to share with a girl who gave me Rent,

by lighting my candle.

Goodbye, Love.

It takes place after Angel's funeral, when Mimi's close with Benny and Roger is leaving for Santa Fe.

Mark tries to keep Roger in New York and their quarrel pries open both their wounds.

Mimi overhears this, and as she says goodbye to Roger, Benny says he would pay for Mimi's rehab.

(It was here that I suddenly find Roger a demanding role to play.

I love "All your words are nice, Mimi!" and "Poor baby!" and finally, "One song..."

Every time I knew they were surprising, and every time

they would still take me by surprise. And by the way, Roger is so much better looking short-haired.)

I will never figure why they removed this song from of the movie.

This is the song that teaches me the love between Mimi and Roger,

the love Mimi has for Roger.

I miss you.

I return to Taipei this afternoon.
